As furparents, we do everything we can to keep our pets healthy and happy. From providing nutritious meals and regular veterinary care to giving them the love they deserve. One important responsibility that should never be overlooked is anti-rabies vaccination.
This Rabies Awareness Month, PetMarra encourages all furparents to take proactive steps in protecting their pets and communities through responsible pet ownership and preventive healthcare.
Why Rabies Vaccination Matters
Rabies is a fatal but preventable disease that affects both animals and humans. Vaccinating pets against rabies is one of the most effective ways to protect them while helping create safer communities.
Regular vaccination, proper pet care, and responsible ownership all play important roles in preventing the spread of the disease.
Free Anti-Rabies Vaccination in Quezon City
To help make preventive healthcare more accessible, the Quezon City Veterinary Department offers free anti-rabies vaccination through the Accessible Rabies Care (ARC) Project.
Pets are eligible if they:
- Are at least 3 months old
- Are healthy at the time of vaccination

Pet owners may register through the PAWNEC platform and present a valid QCitizen ID to avail of the free vaccination service.

Education Beyond Nutrition
At PetMarra, our mission goes beyond providing quality nutrition.
Through veterinary partnerships, educational livestreams, Pawdcast episodes, community events, and collaborations with shelters and animal welfare organizations, we continue to advocate for responsible pet ownership and evidence-based pet care.
By working closely with veterinarians and industry experts, we aim to help furparents make informed decisions and combat misinformation surrounding pet health, nutrition, vaccination, and preventive care.
A Lifelong Commitment to Pet Wellness
Protecting our pets goes beyond providing food and treats. It includes routine veterinary care, vaccinations, proper nutrition, and staying informed about their health needs.
This Rabies Awareness Month, let us all do our part in building safer communities for pets and people alike.
Because every pet deserves a lifetime of love, care, and protection.
